CIP Cleaning in Dairy Industry

Our customer was moving to a fully automated CIP cleaning system, as required for their Quality Assurance. However, the process needed to be a gradual one to allow maintenance of production levels and to control costs.

Working with an existing 12 Devicenet networks which were full, and with few drawings with which to refer, we set about communicating and fault -finding within the original programming. We implemented a first step of upgrading the RSView to accommodate new instruments. We isolated old and unused sections of the program and made ongoing improvements to the networks. With new valves installed and RS View screens programmed to accept further modifications, our customer is primed to complete the fully automated process as soon as they are ready.
